Greta - Privacy Policy

Effective from 2 September 2026

In short: we do not sell your data and show no ads. Cycle data is processed only with your consent. Only anonymized context is sent to the AI - no name, exact dates or calendar event titles. You can delete your data at any time.

1. Who we are

Greta is published under the name ALIC, the trading name of Valeriia Nesterova, an individual developer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She acts as the data controller for the Greta app ("Greta", "we"). You can reach us at support@greta.press - this is the fastest way to get an answer about your data.

This Policy explains what data we collect in the Greta mobile application (the "App"), why we collect it and with whom we share it.

2. Data we collect

3. How we use data

We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell it.

4. AI assistant

Guidance is generated by an external neural network (AI service provider). We send it only anonymized context: your cycle phase and day, language, country, a generic calendar event type and the text of your chat questions. We do not send your name, email, exact dates, period history or calendar event titles.

Processing takes place on AI providers' servers located:

AI responses are informational and not medical advice.

5. Who we share data with

They process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Storage and security

We keep your data while your account exists. Some cycle data is also stored locally on your device for offline access. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, although no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, delete your account entirely in the app settings, and withdraw your consent for health data processing (related features will then become unavailable). If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us at support@greta.press and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

The App is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children below this age. If this has happened by mistake, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will announce material changes in the app or by email. The current version is always available at this address and inside the app.
